På många arbetsplatser är detta en festlig tid. Luciakaffe, glöggmys och, för dem som har tur, en riktig julfest. När julledigheten nalkas är det också många som får ett tack för det gågna året av sin chef. I en del paket ligger den klassiska Alladin-asken och i andra någon profilprodukt ("Å, tack snälla, jag har alltid önskat mig ett paraply med firmans logtype på!"). En och annan har riktig tur och får en lyxigare klapp eller bonusslant att shoppa upp under mellandagsrean. Inget fel med det men jag tror det är något annat som många vill ha. Jag tänker förstås på det enkla faktum att vi alla behöver få positiv uppmärksamhet då och då. Ett grattis på födelsedagen, en fråga om hur det gick hos doktorn eller varför inte en ärligt menad klapp på axeln när vi har gjort något bra. I dessa tider är det inte alltid så lätt att hinna med sådana här vardagliga men betydelsefulla gester. Vi springer hit och dit och på många arbetsplatser träffar vi bara chefen då och då.
